Bahama Mama

Top: Minkpink c/o HAUS 131 | Denim Shorts: J Brand
Sandals and Straw Fedora: American Eagle | Sunnies: Rayban

I'm having a love/hate moment with this blog post. As much as I LOVED the Bahamas, posting these pictures only remind me that I'm no longer there soaking up paradise. My besties and I planned a last minute getaway to Freeport and Nassau last month, and I must admit, it was the most beautiful place I've ever been. Can't wait to go back!

Here are a few more snapshots from our trip:

Pop of Neon

Sweater, Blouse, Leather Shorts: HAUS 131
Necklace and Sandals: Topshop (similar here) | Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

Confession: I have a slight obsession with sweaters. Some people say you can never have enough denim in your closet. Well, I use the same motto......with sweaters. I'm currently obsessing over this distressed black and white star sweater from HAUS 131! I love that I can pair it with any color combo, and it's also lightweight enough for me to wear throughout Spring!

As for these amazing neon yellow shorts...I can't get enough of them. They are also available in black, but now that it's officially Spring, I opted for the yellow. I am actually quite surprised how many different outfits I have been able to pair these with!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Aztec and Leopard

Poncho: Lucca Couture | Tee: Chaser LA | Denim: Blank NYC
All c/o HAUS 131

Booties: Zara | Bag: Gianni Bini | Necklace and Bracelet: Stella & Dot | Watch: Michael Kors

So I must admit, while everyone is counting down the days until they pull out their white denim and cut-offs, I'm secretly holding on to every ounce of cool weather that mother nature is willing to spare us. Why you ask? I. LOVE. TO. LAYER. I am NOT the girl who wears something once and then retires it. I try to get as much bang for my buck as possible, so I find the best way to 'recycle' items in my closet is by layering and mixing it up! As stated in my last post, I tend to mix patterns and textures often. Leopard shoes, whether it's a flat, pump, or bootie, is a great way to mix up your look! I see lots of floral dresses paired with leopard oxfords in my future!

Flower Power

Jacket: Forever 21 | Blouse: H&M | Necklace and Pants: HAUS 131
Clutch: Madly-Yours | Pumps: Zara (Similar here and here) | Sunnies: Dior | Bracelet: Stella & Dot

Could not be more excited to publish my very first blog post! Hold that thought. Bustin' out floral prints and acrylic heels in 70 degree weather....equally exciting. I absolutely love pairing prints and textures. It's a sure way to keep your look interesting and fresh! I stumbled across these amazing pumps last year and I HAD TO HAVE THEM. Who would have thought a year later, acrylic shoes would be one of the bigger trends this coming season! Saying they go with everything is an understatement. They are indeed THE perfect shoe. If you are thinking of investing in a pair, do it.

Hope you enjoyed the first post! Please bare with me as I'm still learning all about the blog world. The Wearhaus District is still VERY much a work in progress, but we all have to start somewhere, right? Happy Monday!
